“When I first began the course, I was pleased with the structure of the course and the fact that the teaching staff insisted on speaking almost exclusively in Chinese from the first day of the course. The pace of the class was tailored to the various levels of the students, and the content was practical language that could be used immediately. The teachers would change from class to class, and yet the quality of teaching was consistent. 

If a student missed classes, Onis would often offer make-up lessons to help the student keep up the pace with the course. These make-up lessons allowed me to have my first private tuition with Mary Ling.
